Prescriptions

Dear valued client,

We want to make caring for your pet and ongoing medications as pleasant as possible. To avoid disappointment and delays when ordering prescription medication please give us 48 hours’ notice.

Some prescription medications need to be ordered in, generally we can receive products overnight. It is also a requirement for vets to perform regular health checks on your pet to continue dispensing prescription medication.

The vet will specify when these checks are required. When requesting medication, our prescription nurse will ask some questions about your pet’s general health and dose rates required. Sometimes she might be required to consult with your vet and/or book your pet in for a check-up before dispensing more prescription medication.

There is a dispensing fee to cover the cost, but this is waived if medication is collected during a consultation with your vet.

We can provide delivery of medication for you furry friends if preferred.

Thank you for your kindness and your cooperation.
