Jo Newman

Reception

Jo is a very valued part of our team. Her connection with Bay of Islands Vets dates back several decades, certainly to the days before the Internet, when knowledge was carried in your head. She has a phenomenal memory for helpful information on a wide range of subjects, from pets and birds to horses and farm animals. All of our staff, vets and support staff alike, turn to Jo at times for help.

Jo's special area of interest is cats, as she is an internationally reknown breeder of Cornish Rex, but what Jo really likes is being able to help clients at the front counter, especially our long time ones who enjoy seeing her friendly face still present amongst the  constant change of a busy, growing clinic.
