Bay of Islands Veterinary Services has been providing top quality veterinary care to the animals of the beautiful Bay of Islands for over 50 years.
I qualified as a veterinarian from Edinburgh University and have worked in Wales, Northern Ireland ,Australia and New Zealand in both mixed and companion animal practice. About 19 years ago we emigrated to New Zealand from N. Ireland where I worked as a small animal vet in both Timaru and Christchuch.
We decided to move to Brisbane after the earthquake and I have enjoyed working in a number of CA practices during that time. We are in the process of moving back to NZ permanently.
I have 2 dogs Hank and Charlie, Hank was a Guide Dog puppy with a few health problems and Charlie was a rescue who can best be described as having some mental health issues. Outside family and work I spend my time walking the dogs as well as riding and repairing motorcycles.
