There is a vet available for appointments five days a week and full after hours cover is provided by the practice which also has clinics in Kawakawa, Kerikeri and Kaikohe.

The clinic is situated on Selwyn Rd in the La Scala Building and carries a wide range of premium pet foods and pet accessories.

This is our dedicated small animal clinic and dental centre, providing all your pet needs and accessories.


THE TEAM


Bay of Islands Veterinary Services - Team member - Geraldine Gorman  

GERALDINE GORMAN MVB MANZCVS (Dentistry and Oral Surgery)
Veterinary Surgeon qualified in Ireland in 1984 and has worked for the practice since 2000. Geraldine is an experienced Small Animal Clinician with a special interest in small animal dentistry - she sat and passed her exams to become a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery in 2010. Outside of work Geraldine is a mother of four grown up children who have flown the nest.  She is a horse riding fanatic and is secretary of the Kaikohe Polocrosse Club - the game that looks like lacrosse on horseback.  She also enjoys horse trekking and timed trail riding in her spare time.  When not on horseback she can be found walking, running and gardening.

LINDA TAYLOR
Linda is our Clinic Coordinator and is always available to discuss you pets wellbeing, food and flea control.  Linda has lived in Paihia for 27 years and worked in the Paihia Clinic since 2000.  Linda has always had a cat or dog in the family and really enjoys the extra dimension they bring to every day family living.  In her spare time Linda can be found playing golf, walking, reading or listening to classical music.     

Bay of Islands Veterinary Services - Team member - Cara Mellars  

CARA MELLARS
Veterinary Nurse Cara joned the practice in 2013 after several years working in clinics in Auckland.  Cara enjoys sailing, fishing, beaches and has a soft spot for turtles and has had Monti her red-ear for 30 years and he is still going strong.
